The seminar covers the necessary knowledge to enable the trainee to undertake the duties and responsibilities of Company Security Officer (CSO), according to the requirements of the relevant international legislation.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to perform duties of a Company Security Officer (CSO) or Assistants, as defined in section A/2.1.7 (and paragraph 11) of the ISPS Code Part A taking into account the guidance provided in parts B/8, B/9, B/13, of International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code.

Aims & Objectives
- Assist current and future Company Security Officers, to develop effective and practical skills in order to carry out their tasks effectively
- Help companies apply the ISPS Code and achieve compliance
- Help participants become qualified as Company Security Officers (CSOs)

- Assess security risk, threat and vulnerability
- Ensure appropriate security measures are implemented and maintained
- Ensure that security equipment and any systems, if any, are properly operated
